Prema Muralidhar, an academician with over three decades of experience has held diverse positions in the academic and corporate arena in India and Abroad. A passionate teacher who started her career in 1984 embraced the challenges that came her way while scaling the professional ladder from a Kindergarten teacher to a Quality Assurance specialist at the Directorate of technical education, Sultanate of Oman. She has of late been travelling to schools as an Assessor (QCI), to help schools prepare for accreditation and render services as a member of the audit team.
Ms. Muralidhar is a Post graduate in Business Administration, Education and English Literature. A versatile and persevering professional in the field of Education, she has clinched accolades for herself and won coveted awards for the institutions she served
Her 36 years of qualitative experience in teaching has given her the niche to stand out from the crowd in her area of expertise serving school / HEIs and ministerial / corporate organizations. Currently working as the Educational Affairs Director & Principal of Woodlem Park School. Ms. Muralidhar is also the certified assessor of NABET (National accreditation board of education & training), Quality Council of India.
Her 5 year stint with Next Education as Advisory member of the board and her role as GM- Academics and Audit, effectively nurtured the company in developing qualitative products like Next Books and other allied resources, the ERP or school management system, supporting schools in understanding accreditation process, conducting staff assessment, writing articles, workshops, seminars and principals conclaves at the regional / national level, on” Academic Excellence – A system oriented Approach”, sharing best practices with teachers to enhance teaching & learning process.
Her return to the home country in 2012 found her a place as a Principal of Sadhbhavana World School and later elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Sadhbhavana Holdings. Her dedicated team effort resulted in moving the school to topping the band of 367 schools in South India and also placed the school No 9 in a span of 2 years. Besides her students’ meritorious performance at the Cambridge International exams with 100% distinction merit carved a niche for herself among great educators today.
She has actively involved in conducting Principals Conference and workshops for school decision makers and educators across the globe and shares best practices to the teaching fraternity too by sharing best practices to empower students to brave the challenges of the 21st century. She is also engaged in conducting staff assessments and helping schools internationally to enhance their academic excellence through a meaningful 360 degree staff appraisal program. With her eyes keenly set on ensuring that the students are equipped with 21st century learning skills, the desire to continually evolve will reign supreme.
